What is EMF?
There are two types of radiation
Man-made Radiation and Natural Radiation
EMF & Man-made Radiation
EMF from Man-made radiation stands for ‘electromagnetic field,’ a term often used to encompass all types of low-level non-ionising radiation. Other terms used interchangeably with EMF include EMR (electromagnetic radiation), electronic pollution, and electrosmog. These come in various forms:
Electric Fields
These types of radiation derive from live electrical household wiring – electrical wiring that has voltage on it.
Electric fields typically extend up to 6 feet (2 metres) from their source or even farther. The strength and intensity of electric fields vary based on the voltage level of the wiring and the number of sources producing them. Unless shielded, all wiring emits this radiation, and electric fields persist on wires even when devices are switched off.
The sources of electric fields that we encounter and utilise daily include household or commercial wiring circuits, as well as all the devices and equipment they power. Additionally, utility cables, power lines supplying our households, power stations and substations, and distribution lines emit significant electric fields.
- Side bed lamps
- Cell phone charges
- Alarm Clocks
- Electric beds or Headboards
- Electric blankets
- Metal in mattresses, bed frames
- Electricity wires inside walls, floor and ceiling
- Wire webs underneath the desk and out of extension leads
- Ungrounded electronics
- Ungrounded monitors and laptops.
- Un-shielded cables
Magnetic Fields
Magnetic fields are produced by current flow. Exposure found in homes can vary considerably from one household to another. They most importantly arise from:
- Imbalances in the electric current flowing through active/hot and neutral wiring due to wiring errors or stray currents (see Chapter 9),
- The separation of active/hot and neutral cables,
- Solar panel systems and inverters,
- Electrical floor heating and
- Outside sources like power lines and transformers.
Magnetic fields penetrate most materials as if they weren’t present, making shielding ineffective. The use of materials that can shield magnetic fields is costly and, in our experience, typically disappointing in a residential setting. If the source of the magnetic field cannot be mitigated, we need to increase our distance from the source.
Sources that generate magnetic fields include some Kitchen appliances, utility supplies, power lines, train/tram lines, and any equipment that utilises electricity for heating, cooling, or motor operation.
It is crucial to address the presence of magnetic fields and other sources of EMF radiation in bedrooms. Unfortunately, many homes have had their utility meter and/or circuit breaker panels installed on bedroom walls. Various devices such as alarm clocks, wireless cell phone charging stations, heating radiators and adjustable bed frames can generate magnetic fields that reach the body in a bedroom. The use of electrical heating pads or blankets can also create these fields and has been linked to fetal growth defects and miscarriages (Wertheimer and Leeper, 1986). Static magnetic fields produced by metal springs inside the mattress or spring box can also be problematic since they are near the body.
Radio Frequency
Also referred to as RF, this exists within the non-ionising band of frequencies, encompassing both radio and microwave radiation levels. Radio waves serve as carriers of information from one location to another through the air.
Wireless communication infrastructures can include cell phones, phone towers, Wi-Fi routers, Bluetooth devices, radio and television broadcasts, radars, and satellites. RF can travel great distances and penetrate homes.
Wireless Devices inside your “smart” home contribute heavily to the levels of Radio frequency radiation in your space.
- Sleeping problems
- Fatigue
- Headaches
- Elevated blood sugar levels
- Tinnitus – Ringing in the ears
- Learning problems and concentration – foggy head
- Heart problems, heart palpitations and heart Arrhythmias
- Stress, Agitation, Anxiety, Irritability
- Vertigo – Feeling dizzy & having balance problems
- Arthritis, Sharp Stabbing Pains, Body Pain
- Cancer, Epistein – Bar- Virus
- Depression
- Seizures
- Autism
In 2013, Dr. Herbert of Harvard and wireless expert Cindy Sage published a paper that outlined a wide range of autism symptoms that match known symptoms of wireless exposure, including genetic damage to sperm, calcium channel mutations, and inflammation. It is important for parents to understand that the wireless signals our electronic devices send and receive are a form of microwave radiation and these signals are known to disrupt calcium. Dirty Electricity
Dirty electricity is energy that travels along household wires in buildings.
This form of electronic pollution is generated by numerous modern electronic gadgets, appliances, lighting, solar systems and power solutions, LEDs, power line communication devices (PLCs), solar panel inverters, domestic appliances, switch-mode power supplies, and dimmer switches.
It’s essential to note that while the source of dirty electricity may originate within your property, it can also originate from sources beyond the boundaries of your home or workplace.
Natural Radiation
There are many different types of Geopathic stress from gridlines, five of which most of people and geologists agree they exist: Hartman lines, Curry lines, benker cube, fault lines, water veins and ground mixing.
Most cultures are aware that excesses of these natural radiations are very bad to one’s health and not good to sleep over, notably, water veins, Hartmann lines and curry lines
Curry and Harman lines can carry negative emotional imprints and disturb our mental and emotional planes. They are all particularly susceptible to modern-day electromagnetic pollution. As these lines travel across the planet, they pick up the energetic signatures of everything they interact with.
After circulating high-tension electrical power lines or cell phone towers, these energetic signatures are now impregnated onto the lines, bringing another layer of detrimental energies into our homes and everyday life.
A thousand sources (or layers) of EMFs can, over time, wear down a healthy body’s natural defences and make us prone to illnesses, viruses and diseases.
